Trend Installation Tooling was founded by Jack Taylor in March 1993, initially as a Sole Trader providing a service to the Electrical and Engineering Industry as a Tool and Prototype Sample Maker . The Company progressed into small to medium batch production work, spares for British Rail and fittings for overhead catenary wires. In April 1994 we moved to larger premises and became a Limited Company. Due to our continued expansion, we moved once again to larger premises in October 1995, employing nine people. We now manufacture a range of electrical and mechanical engineering products and components for Railway Electrification Systems world-wide. We specialise in machining small castings in gunmetal, aluminium, copper and malleable cast iron to customer specification. In November 1996 we achieved accreditation to BS/EN/ISO9002 (1994). The Company is committed to Investors in People. A training plan has been devised for each member of staff. Although the Company continues to prosper we are developing more of our own products to underpin this success.
