ABOUT TRENDRAIL
Trendrail, formerly known as Trend
Installation Tooling was founded in 1993 by the current
owner Jack Taylor
Due to our continued
expansion, we moved to larger premises in October 1995.
We now manufacture a range of electrical and mechanical
engineering products for Railway Electrification Systems
world-wide. We specialise in machining small castings in
gunmetal, aluminium, copper and malleable cast iron to customer
specification.
The company has been involved in the supply of railway electrification
components and small parts steel work for major rail projects
worldwide including the East & West Coast Mainline refurbishment,
Channel Tunnel Link and Light Rail projects in Turkey and
Hong Kong. In view of this, in May 2002, we changed our
name to Trendrail Ltd to reflect the main nature of the
business
The Company has achieved accreditation to BS/EN/ISO9002,
gained recognition as an Investor in People and was a finalist
in the National Training Awards, for which we received a
Special Commendation.
Trendrail is currently developing a new generation of catenary
wire fittings for Light Rail/Tramway applications world-wide.
